This article might have been written by a teenager who watches too much YouTube. Do you have any metrics to back up the claim that Japanese businesses value "community" over American businesses? Or is this something you made up in your head?

Also I disagree with the whole claimed "short termism" of American capitalism. Americans literally pioneered blitz-scaling in the tech space. You even have businesses like Amazon that prioritised growth over shareholder returns for almost two decades.
